Drawing competition on ‘clean and safe environment’ held

As part of “Children campaign 2023” activities, ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA)- Child Friendly Dimapur (CFD) organised a drawing competition under the theme, “Clean and safe environment for children” on July 10 at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS), Dimapur.
In a press release, AIDA said the main objective of the competition was to create awareness on the Right of the Children with special emphasis on Article 24 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The competition, held in two different categories i.e., 12-14 years and 15-18 years, also aimed to foster creativity and artistic talents in young people to freely express their ideas and perspectives on how they envision a clean and safe environment.
Altogether 53 children from different localities and institutions from Dimapur and Chumoukedima participated in the event. The prizes for the top 3 winners in each category would be awarded on September 16 during the art exhibition cum sales day at AIDA-Don Bosco, Dimapur.
