Drone workshop underway at NU

DIMAPUR:

A 6-days ‘drone assembly and programming training workshop’ is underway from March 16 to 21, at the School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University (SET, NU), Kohima Campus, Meriema.
A press release by PRO of NU, Nagaland University, Peter Ki stated that the workshop has been organized by the Training and Placement Cell, SET-NU, in collaboration with Rotorize Aviation Pvt. Ltd.
3 batches of students are being trained in drone technology, assembly, and programming in the workshop. A flight simulator tool will be used to demonstrate drone operations and flight simulation. Students are also getting hands-on experience on how to operate real drones, assemble them using different parts, and program them for specific tasks.
Shanchamo Yanthan, in-charge of the Placement Cell, School of Engineering, Nagaland University, highlighted the importance of such training workshops where students can learn valuable practical skills from industry professionals. He also expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Nagaland University, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kohima Campus, and the Dean, School of Engineering, for their constant support in organizing such events for the benefit of the student community.
