Destruction board headed by Superintendent of Police Mon, Kanchan Kumar Kandpal, on January 24 destroyed drugs worth around Rs. 22 lakh which was seized between 2019 to 2024. According to Superintendent of Police & PRO Mon, Kanchan Kumar Kandpal, the destruction was carried out under Narcotics drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985 and other seized articles.
In this connection 38 cases registered at Mon DEF, SP informed. The destruction was headed by Kanchan Kumar Kandpal, SP Mon in presence of the following destruction committee- Executive Magistrate (EAC HQ Mon), Asst. Public Prosecutor, Prosecuting Inspector, OC PS Mon, Konyak Union Mon, Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong, Mon and Konyak Students’ Union, Mon.
