DSA asked to submit athlete database by July 24

DIMAPUR, JUN 22 (NPN): In an effort to establish a unified single-window digital portal for athlete welfare schemes, the Department of Youth Resources and Sports has initiated the compilation of a comprehensive digital database of athletes across the state.
The initiative aims to ensure greater transparency, ease of access, and effective monitoring of athlete welfare and development programmes.
In this regard, all District Sports Associations (DSA) under Dimapur and Niuland have been requested to compile and submit an athlete database in the prescribed format to the Office of the District Youth Resources and Sports Officer, Dimapur, on or before July 24, 2026, for onward submission to the Directorate of Youth Resources and Sports.

The department has urged all concerned associations to extend their cooperation and ensure timely submission of the required data.
