DTF meet on MI & IPPI 1st round in Peren

District Task Force meeting on Mission Indradanush (4th round) and IPPI 1st round Peren district was held on January 12 at DC’s chamber. 
The programme was chaired and welcome address delivered by DC, Peter Lichamo, chairman of District Task Force Committee, who expressed his appreciation to all the members for attending the meeting. Officials of various departments from Chief Medical Office, School Education, Social Welfare, District Public Relations Office, Rural Development and Administration attended the meeting. 
DPO, RCH/UIP, Dr. Khrielasanuo highlighted about the previous month’s performance on MI carried out in the district. She informed about the upcoming Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) 1st Round which would be held on January 17.  She also highlighted on how and what is to be done during the IPPI. She informed that the Police Dept & the Assam Rifles under Peren district would also be actively involved during the IPPI. She also urged the Anganwadi workers for their support in helping out during the IPPI. The final report on MI of all the 4 rounds would be presented during the next District Task Force meeting which has been scheduled for February 6.  
The meeting concluded with the chairman’s remark that intensive awareness and timely meetings were to be conducted for the success of the programme.
Information was also given that Healthy Lifestyle Camp would be held on January 13, 9 a.m. at CHC Jalukie.
