District Task Force (DTF) meeting on immunization was held on October 16 at the Conference Hall, Deputy Commissioner Office, District Headquarter Peren.
A press release by the office of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Peren stated that DPO, RCH/UIP, Dr M Nukshisangla Jamir gave a power-point presentation on activities under UIP programme in Peren district from January 2019 till date, NID (IPPI), introduction of Rota Virus vaccine and Td vaccine, streamlining of cold chain system, undertaking of routine immunization micro-planning, involvement in poshan abhiyan activities ,preparation for IMI 2019-2020.
She also spoke on findings during monitoring visits and the way forward towards achieving 90% full immunization coverage in the district.
The programme was chaired by deputy commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier and attended by officials from CMO, Police, Assam Rifles and DPRO.
