DTFI meeting onRI held in Kiphire

District Task Force on Immunization (DTFI) held a Routine Immunization (RI) at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Kiphire on September 2, 2025.
According to DIPR report, the meeting was chaired by Takatemjen Pongen, EAC Kiphire. During the meeting, the EAC welcomed and acknowledge all the members for their active participation and cooperation.
Dr. Yelo T. Mero DPO (RCH/UIP) highlighted the physical status report for Financial Year 2024-25 and 2025-26. He also highlighted on the ongoing activities in the district. He stressed on challenges and way forward so as to improve immunization coverage in the district.
The meeting also discussed on vaccine hesitancy and resistance and addressed stakeholders’ engagement to address vaccine hesitancy and resistance including communication and trust building measures. National Immunization Day to be observed on October 12, 2025.The committee resolved to ensure more regular meeting to strengthen monitoring and supervision so as to improve Immunization coverage.
