Dimapur Urban Councils Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) has condemned the act of ‘barbarism’ meted out on late Ngangwang Konyak of Totok Chingnyu village, who was killed on May 7 by some perpetrators.
The union said the brutal murder and the headless corpse which was dumped in the river showed outmost disregard to humanity and an insult to the Nagas.
Dimapur Urban Councils Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) urged the state government to take up the matter with their counterparts in Assam and demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators.
