The offices of the accountants general, audit and A&E would be organising an inter-college “Duet Singing Competition” for colleges located in and around Kohima on November 23, 2 P.M. at the State Academy Hall. The competition will be for both in Hindi and English and cash awards along with certificates would be given to the winners.
In a press release, Sr. deputy accountant general (A&E) informed that the organisation of the comptroller and auditor general of India observes “Audit Diwas” on November 16 each year followed by an “Audit Awareness Week” throughout the country. The objective behind this is to celebrate the long and illustrious history of the organisation, evolution and recognise the contribution of the organisation to the governance of the country.
