Secretary of Social Welfare, Dellirose M. Sakhrie, director Social Welfare,T. Merangtsungba Aier, chairperson Nagaland State Welfare Board, Bano Vinito and other officials from the department of Social Welfare visited Mokokchung on November 4. During their visit, they interacted with the district welfare officers along with the CDPOs from all the six projects relating to the functioning of the department. Secretary social welfare exhorted all the officials present to dedicate themselves towards their duties. She also emphasized on the importance of ICDS functioning and encouraged the CDPOs and supervisors to be very sincere in performing their duties at the grass root level so as to achieve the real objectives of the ICDS to the fullest extent in strengthening the efforts relating to child welfare.
