Dy. CM Patton donates bus toDon Bosco School, Riphyim

Deputy Chief Minister Y. Patton on Wednesday flagged off a school bus donated to Don Bosco School, Old Riphyim, and also handed over a Mahindra Bolero to the Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) in Wokha.
Speaking at the flag-off event, Patton shared that his decision to donate the bus stemmed from witnessing students walking long distances under harsh weather conditions during his visits to the area. He expressed hope that the new facility would ease the daily commute for students and faculty, and encourage better academic performance.
Earlier the same day, Patton handed over the Bolero vehicle to Lotha Students Union (LSU), which was received by LSU president Lirhonthung Kithan in Wokha. Acknowledging the union’s role in guiding students and promoting community welfare, Patton said the vehicle would enhance LSU’s outreach and operational capacity. He extended his best wishes to the union in its endeavours.
