Economics & statistics (E&S) department organised a two-day training programme under Support for Statistical Strengthening (SSS) Scheme 2021-22, titled “orientation training on social statistics including vital statistics” at the conference hall of the directorate, Kohima, on August 26.
In a press release, the department informed that while delivering the inaugural address, additional director & HoD, Neidilhou Angami advised the trainees to take the training seriously and expressed confidence that through such trainings, employees of the department would be better equipped in performing assigned duties.
He also expressed happiness as resource persons for the two-day programme were officers from the department.
Meanwhile, joint director and nodal officer, SSS, Charles N Kikon gave a brief highlight of the aims and objectives of the scheme.
The programme was chaired by deputy director & programme officer (training) Kezhalelhou Solo.
