The IQAC of Eastern Christian College (ECC), Padumpukhuri, Dimapur, in collaboration with its research committee, organized a one day workshop on the topic “Research Methodology”, on October 15.
A press release from Eastern Christian College principal Sivichan T Joseph stated that resource person of the program, North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Dimapur peace & conflict studies, assistant professor Dr. Deben Bachaspatimayum, enlightened the faculty and budding scholars about the various methods, techniques, issues and challenges in research pursuits. He also emphasized on an holistic approach of research by motivating the researchers to take research as a challenge to add new knowledge into the existing pool.
Also, he urged the researchers to choose research topics/area of study which have more social relevance.
The program was attended by the Eastern Christian College faculty, scholars and academicians from St. Joseph University, Ikishe Model Village, Dimapur.
