Department of Social Welfare, Nagaland conducted a three-day training programme on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)- newly introduced central flagship programme for Anganwadi Workers (ANWS)- at Sanis ICDS Project from August 11-13 with Er. Mhayani Murry and Emilo Yanthan (supervisor) as resource persons.
During the programme, CDPO Sanis, Robert Odyuo, presented a brief introduction on ECCE.
Altogether 50 ANWS attended the training during which subject materials were also distributed.
It may be mentioned that ECCE’s primarily focuses on the all-round and holistic development of children in the age group of 3-6 years.
