Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed observers for the general election to Lok Sabha in respect to 1-Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency.
In a press note, office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nagaland informed that EC has appointed general observers– P. Ramesh, IAS for the districts of Dimapur, Peren, Kohima, Phek, Zunheboto, Wokha and Pughoboto and can be contacted at 9863844113. Avinash Champawat, IAS has been assigned Chümoukedima, Tseminyu, Mokokchung, Mon, Tuensang, Longleng, Kiphire, Noklak and Shamator and his contact number 9863902371.
Further, EC has also appointed expenditure observers– Vivek Chauhan, IRS for Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Peren, Kohima, Phek, Mokokchung, Tseminyu and Pughoboto and his phone number, 9863898256; Satya Batra, IRAS for Zunheboto, Wokha, Mon, Tuensang, Longleng, Kiphire, Noklak and Shamator, phone number, 986389495l while Sukesh Kumar Jain, IPS has been made police observer for the entire state, phone number, 9863898256 and 6909377316.
