ECS team visits Chessore PHC; focuses on maternal health

A team from Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS), Tuensang, led by Program Manager Toshila, visited the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Chessore Town on July 18 and held a community meeting with local stakeholders.
According to DIPR report, the meeting focused on improving maternal health and discussed plans to conduct training and awareness programmes, especially for expectant mothers.
ECS informed that the health initiative will begin in Chessore Town and village, with plans to expand to nearby villages.
The team also shared that ECS will assist in revitalizing the Ayushman Bharat programme at the PHC and will coordinate with the concerned department to secure an ambulance for the centre.
