East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has issued a directive to halt all ongoing house constructions within its jurisdiction that are being carried out without valid construction permits. The council informed that individuals undertaking construction activities must obtain the necessary permits from the EDTC office before resuming any work. The council also directed individuals and contractors who have placed building materials on public or pavilion pavements without permission to clear them within 15 days.
