DIMAPUR: East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has informed all companies, firms, agencies, service providers and individuals operating telecommunication towers, cable wires, optical fibre networks, internet connections, communication infrastructure or any other private telecom related installations within its jurisdiction to obtain necessary permission and authorization from the Council’s office.
In a press statement, EDTC directed all concerned to report to the office and complete the required permission formalities by June 30 from the date of publication of the notice. The Council stated that the notification was issued in the interest of proper regulation, documentation and management of telecommunication and related infrastructure within EDTC jurisdiction.
