EDTC lauds NSDMA for drainage clearance

DIMAPUR: East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has expressed appreciation to the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) for carrying out clearance of drainage systems under its jurisdiction.
In a press release, EDTC stated that the cleaning drive has significantly contributed to improving sanitation, preventing waterlogging, and ensuring a cleaner environment for residents of East Dimapur.
The Council further appealed to residents to extend full cooperation in maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation by refraining from disposing of garbage, plastics and other waste materials into drains and drainage channels.
