EduCentre School of Business (ESB), in collaboration with Young Indians (YI) Nagaland Chapter organised an exposure-cum-networking trip to Siliguri and Sikkim from April 5-8.
Speaking to Nagaland Post, chair, Young Indians Nagaland Chapter, Thejasevi Putsure informed that 22 entrepreneurs from the state met top entrepreneurs of Siliguri where discussions on progress of Siliguri as marketing hub and possible collaborations were discussed.
Later, the delegation travelled to Sikkim where they were hosted by entrepreneurs of Sikkim.
Professionals from various sectors organised a panel discussion which dwelt on changes that were being implemented in their state.
They also discussed how Nagaland was gearing up to be a tourist/business hotspot in the North East.
Putsure also said that the Nagaland Chapter along with Siliguri and Sikkim chapters were hosted by officials of Wai Wai factory and Sikkim supreme and a session was also held with COO of Sikkim IFFCO Mayank Paihar.
Mayank conducted a business talk on importance of organic farming and how the industry was going to be the most challenging and rewarding prospect for the North Eastern region.
On last day of the networking trip, the Nagaland Chapter headed to Changu Lake, a hotspot for tourist attraction.
Putsure informed that Young Indians Nagaland affirmed to build personal relationships and networking across the nation through which he said, progress could be learnt and shared.
