Eid greetings

Muslim Council Dimapur has wished all citizens of Nagaland a happy and prosperous ‘Idd-Ul-Zuha’.
Working president of MCD, A. Rahman, hopes that this festival signifying supreme sacrifice would bring a new era of harmony oneness and brotherhood among the different section of the society. It also informed that Idd Namaz at Dimapur would be held at on September 13, 7:45 a.m at the Dimapur Iddgah Prayer Ground. The council also requested all concerned that since Idd holiday was declared on September 12, where ever possible relaxation if extended to the community member for celebrating the festival would be highly appreciated.
Rotaract Club Dimapur: Rotaract Club of Dimapur has extended greetings to the Muslim community of Dimapur in particular and Nagaland in general on the occasion of Eid. Rotaract Club of Dimapur, president Amit Sharma hoped that the festival of Eid al Adha bring happiness and joy in “our” life with brotherhood and peace around the world. It further stated that Eid- al-Adha which is celebrated with sacrifices made to please the Almighty symbolizes the pious way to follow God’s command for the betterment of the entire humanity.
NPF Minority Wing: Minority Wing Naga Peoples Front, through its president Bishnu Bhattarcharjee has extended greetings to the Muslim community of Nagaland on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha and hoped that the “feast of sacrifice” or “Bakr-Eid” usher in  peace and prosperity to all.
