On Children’s Day, Euro International School (EIS) opened its centre at Chekiye Village, Wednesday, marked with fascinating presentations by the school children.
The pre-school chain, EIS centre at Chekiye Village was dedicated by Chekiye Village Baptist Church (CVBC) associate pastor, Charlie Chophy, and inaugurated by Khekiye H Yepthomi.
On the occasion, EIS Dimapur principal, Sandeep K Jain, asserted that an effective and organised pre-school was the need of the hour for any developing society.
Keeping in mind the need for holistic development of a child, Jain said he along with the EIS centre partners, Kahoshe S. Yepthomi and Mikato Sema, decided to open the pre-school to help children develop intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.
He said the pre-school would also help mould children in building strong beliefs, right attitude and strong characters and thus prepare them for future endeavours.
The principal stated that the centre will begin with playgroup to nursery classes for the academic year 2019 and gradually upgrade to higher classes.
