Election for the Fazl Ali College Mokokchung Students’ Union (FACSU) for the session 2023-2024, was held on August 25.
A press release from college information and publicity cell stated that election was conducted using a secret ballot system in a peaceful and orderly manner managed by the teaching faculty where the students voted for their preferable student candidates.
The candidates who got the highest number of votes were then screened by the teachers for various executive posts. Asensor Jamir (BA 3rd Semester) has been elected as general secretary, Andrew W Ngullie (BSc 3rd Semester) as assistant general secretary along with nine other members.
It was decided that the principal who is also the president of Fazl Ali College Mokokchung Students’ Union will nominate the candidate for the post of vice president and magazine secretary which was not filled during the election.
