Electrical house wiring training concludes in Jalukie

A 30-day long house wiring program successfully concluded at SBI-RSETI Jalukie, Peren on September 30.

A press release from Seiminngam Chongloi, administrative office assistant, stated that the resources person was Jangthaodai Panmei an electrical expert. During the course a total of 30 candidates from different areas of the districts participated in the training and were trained on electrical house wiring and home appliances maintenance under its residential training program from September 1 to 30. Participants were also given free food and lodging in Jalukie near NAP colony.

The valedictory program was chaired by J.C Bhuyan, director SBI-RSETI, where he spoke about the importance of house wiring and advised the trained candidates to use the knowledge they had acquired for generating income so that they may become self-reliant.

Certificates were distributed by the director to the trained candidates. The training program aims to mitigate the unemployment and underemployment problems among the rural youth. This was the 6th residential program organized by the institute.

The institute will also be organizing a mushroom cultivation training program from October 3 to 10.
