Emergency meeting on COVID-19 held at Bhandari

Bhandari Sub Division Block Task Force (SDBTF) held an emergency meeting on COVID-19 at ADC conference hall Bhandari on May 30 and discussed on sealing of inter- state border and shop timing.

According to DIPR report, all interstate entry points of Assam shall remain sealed except for the movement of security forces and Medical emergency services. The supply of essentials commodities shall be routed either through Dimapur or Mokokchung district till further orders. The timing for opening shops from 7 a.m to 5 p.m (Monday to Saturday). The shopkeepers and public have been directed to maintain social distance and hygiene. The movement of public and vehicles shall be restricted from 6 p.m to 6 a.m. Defaulters shall be penalized under Epidemic Disease Act 1897 (IPC section 188). Chairing the meeting the additional deputy commissioner Bhandari expressed gratitude to all BTF members and NGOs for giving the best efforts. Meeting was attended by BTF members, 7th NAP commandant, SDPO Bhandari, MO (CHC) Bhandari, OC Bhandari, company commander 12th IR Merapani, student leaders, president Lotha Hoho and Eloe Hoho, Hd GB, and church leaders.
