Nagaland State Designated Agency (NSDA) in collaboration with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BBE), Ministry of Power organized an awareness programme on “energy conservation” at C-Edge College on Thursday.
Power point presentation on “energy conservation in our daily life” was presented by S. Choudhary and R P Niranjan Bose from Novotech Environmental Engineering Pvt. Ltd, Kolkata.
The presentation included short film clips, various points and discussions on how to save and conserve energy in “our” daily lives.
In his introductory speech, chief electrical inspector, Er. I. V. Chishi, stressed on the importance of such awareness programme especially in the area of energy conservation.
NSDA consultant, Er. K. T. Wabang said that the initiative taken up by NSDA has been immense with the agency organising such awareness programmes at different schools and colleges in almost all the districts in Nagaland.
The programme ended with an active interactive session between the resource persons and the students and faculty of the college. NSDA also presented the college with some few LED light bulbs.
