An enforcement drive carried out by National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) on June 7 near the educational institutions at Zunheboto Town.
A press release by medical department informed that the enforcement drive under Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA) Act 2003 Section 6 (b) was carried out along with police personnel and members of “No Tobacco Club”, Cornerstone School.
During the drive three shops were penalized and the seized items were later burned in the police station.
