ENNWA reaffirms allegiance to Neokpao-Alezo leadership

The Eastern Nagaland National Workers Association (ENNWA) of GPRN/NSCN (Unification) held an emergency meeting on April 17, and unanimously resolved to reaffirm the “unified commitment” of all central, regional, and army cadres to the leadership of president ‘gen.’ (Retd.) M.B. Neokpao Konyak and ato kilonser Alezo Venuh.

In a statement, ENNWA convener Yimto Yimkhiung and secretary Moba Konyak condemned what it termed as Kitovi Zhimomi’s manipulation of the nomenclature “NSCN-NK (Neokpao-Kitovi)” and its further distortion as “Nixukhu Kitovi” during the recent ceasefire extension with the Government of India (GoI).

The association described Kitovi’s actions as “self-aggrandizing” and aimed at deceiving the Naga public, even after his impeachment and expulsion from the GPRN/NSCN (U).

ENNWA rejected what it called unsubstantiated propaganda and strongly criticized Kitovi for making derogatory remarks about ‘gen.’ (Retd.) Neokpao, particularly referring to him as “odl and outdated.” The statement lauded Neokpao’s lifelong service and unwavering commitment to the Naga national cause from his youth to the present day.

Further, ENNWA declared that the ceasefire agreement between Government of India and Kitovi Zhimomi’s associates with the NSCN (NK) affix would be considered “invalid and inapplicable” within Eastern Nagaland territories.

ENNWA urged all stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogue and work towards a lasting solution that respects the will of the Naga people. The association reaffirmed its dedication to genuine peace and dignified future for all Nagas.
