ENNWU on ENPO demand

Eastern Naga National Workers Union (ENNWU) convenor and member collective leadership B Moba Chang has said that the hue and cry of the Nagas from Eastern Nagaland was for development and economic upliftment of the areas to live at par with fellow Nagas in certain aspects.
Pointing out that there has been imbalance in development activities since the inception of statehood, Moba said the economic imparities and lack of infrastructural development in the region cannot be left unattended.
However, he said that while pursuing any developmental programmes and activities, one cannot infringe/jeopardize the Naga political issue, as the Naga issue has surpassed and survived all the past administrative arrangement from both India and Myanmar till date.
Moba further said that as the famous Framework Agreement was witnessed by the world on August 3, 2015, ENNWU and the Nagas were awaiting for the final solution to the long drawn Indo-Naga political issue to have a final inking on the basis of the long lasting, honourable, acceptable and inclusive settlement.
