DIMAPUR: Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has convened its Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting on June 3 at Tuensang.
According to a press communique issued by the ENPO Media Cell, all CEC members have been directed to attend the meeting as per their allocated tribal, frontal and sub‑unit strength. The communiqué further informed that Rajya Sabha MP, Phangnon Konyak has been invited to attend the meeting, along with all 20 ENLU members. Eastern Nagaland ex‑parliamentarians have also been invited as special guests.
Ahead of the CEC meeting, a consultative meeting will be held on June 2, 2026 at 12 noon with political party leaders and workers hailing from Eastern Nagaland. The meeting will include leaders from both national and state parties, along with presidents and secretaries of all six district units. Each party has been requested to depute a three‑member delegation to represent them. In addition, three‑member delegations comprising the president, vice president and general secretary from all tribal councils are expected to attend the consultative meeting without fail.
