The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) and Hindu Mandir Society Kohima (NMSK) have expressed profound grief over the passing of the Governor of Nagaland, La. Ganesan, who died in Chennai on August 15.
ENPO: In a condolence message, the ENPO acknowledged that although Ganesan’s tenure in Nagaland was brief, his decades of public service were marked by humility, kindness and unwavering dedication. The organization stated that his exemplary contributions and compassionate nature left a lasting impression on the people of the state. “At this painful time, the people of Eastern Nagaland join the rest of the State in mourning his loss,” the message read.
The ENPO extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and offered prayers for divine comfort and strength. The organization further prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
HMSK: In a condolence message, the Hindu Mandir Society, Kohima (HMSK) has described late La. Ganesan as a man of integrity, humanity and unwavering dedication to public service. Members of the Society recalled their interactions with the Governor, noting his kindness and straightforward nature during several meetings.
“We are deeply saddened by his sudden passing. His demise is a great loss to the state,” the message read. The Society offered prayers for eternal peace to the departed soul and extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and friends, wishing them strength and comfort during this time of grief.
