ENPO supports NFHRCC ultimatum

Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO), while reaffirming its fullest co-operation and support to Nagaland Foothill Road Construction Committee (NFHRCC) initiative to construct “Nagaland’s dream project”, urged the state government to give an early positive response to NFHRCC’s 30-day ultimatum for making the road motorable while awaiting for the proposed Trans Express Highway mega project.

In a press note ENPO president, R. Tsapikiu Sangtam and general secretary Manlang Phom said that the project, once completed, would bailout the common Naga people who are left at the mercy of the neighbouring state due to frequent bandhs and blockades being imposed by various organizations.

ENPO also pointed out that the free will and generous contributions made by various organizations and churches, was an implication that people at the grassroots were serious and committed to having the dream project accomplished.

Meanwhile, ENPO expressed gratitude to NFHRCC for their tireless commendable job for the welfare of the general public.
