ENPO to skip consultative meet, citing short notice

DIMAPUR, OCT 14 (NPN)

The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has expressed regret over its inability to attend the consultative meeting called by the state government on October 15, citing “extremely short notice.”
According to a statement issued by ENPO media cell, the organisation received information from the state government on October 14 at 6:15 p.m. through the Home department (Political Branch) regarding the proposed meeting to be held at the residence of the chief minister.
While appreciating the government’s initiative in convening the meeting, ENPO expressed regret for its in ability to participate due to the late intimation. It, however, suggested that the state government consider scheduling such a consultative meeting at a more suitable and convenient time.
