Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) has declared “a day of lament” on July 4 as a sign of paying a tribute to “our Patriotic Naga Leader Late Issac Chishi Swu.” In a press release, ENSF president Shahsha L. Menhahu and general secretary Honang M Jessuhu has therefore appealed to all the six federating units (KSU-Konyak, CCSU, PSC, YAA, USSC and KSU-Khiam) to strictly monitor in observing and in honouring it within their respective jurisdiction. All educational institution within the eastern jurisdiction would remain closed, ENSF said and requested all concern authorities to comply its appeals in good faith. Federation, while mourning “the Great lost”, prayed that his “Reverend soul” would teach every Naga leaders with a true spirit of “Oneness and Equality”.
