ENSSU backs ESH resolution

Eastern Nagaland Sumi Students Union (ENSSU) has strongly affirmed to support the Eastern Sumi Hoho (ESH)’s resolution adopted at Nikiye village on October 25, 2022, wherein it declared that Sumi community of Eastern Nagaland “shall continue to exist within the state of present Nagaland in the event of Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation demand is considered by the government of India.”
ENSSU president Isukha Sumi and general secretary Tonika G Aye also reaffirmed the position and decision of ESH that Sumi tribe of Eastern Nagaland would participate in the forthcoming polls and exercise their franchise as provided by Art 326 of the Constitution. In this regard, ENSSU directed all its federating units to participate in the ensuing assembly election and exercise their franchise on February 27, 2023.
