ENSSU condemns

Eastern Nagaland Sumi Students Union (ENSSU) has condemned the incident where the official banner of the 18th general conference of Eastern Nagaland Sumi Students Union at Kohima Road Samphure junction, Kiphire, was “ripped” off by unidentified person between December 29, 2023 and January 1, 2024.


In a condemnation note, Eastern Nagaland Sumi Students Union, president Isukha Sumi and general secretary, Tonika Aye said such kind of act was an abuse towards student’s community and Eastern Sumis in general. It added that such act in a civilized society was condemnable, when sections of societies wanted to promote peace and harmony, noting that such unwanted actions brings commotion amongst societies.


Eastern Nagaland Sumi Students Union further appealed the investigation authority to book those involved and punish them under relevant section of law so as to avert any such situation.
