ENSUB holds candle light service

Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union Bengaluru (ENSUB) conducted candle light service on December 5, at the union office, Bengaluru.

A press release from ENSUB vice president David Chang and assistant general secretary Thsachopa TS stated that the programme was carried out in compliance to the directive of Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF). 

A number of individuals representing different tribes attended and expressed their thoughts and affirmed their solidarity towards Nagas back home fighting for justice and vehemently condemned the brutal action of Indian Para Military Forces which claimed several innocent lives and let many injured on December 4, at Oting village under Mon. 

During the programme, speech on behalf of Konyak Naga Community in Bengaluru was delivered by ENSUB treasurer Agin and solidarity speech was delivered by ENSUB vice president David Chang. 

The crowd observed a silent prayer and a special prayer for the victims was offered by ENFB executive committee member Tsatonpi Sangtam while vote of thanks was proposed by ENSUB assistamt general secretary, Thsachopa TS.
