Entrepreneur awareness & vendor development prog held in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, Jun 18 (NPN): The Entrepreneur Awareness & Special Vendor Development Programme was conducted on June 18 at E-Space, near SBI Rangapahar Branch, Duncan, Dimapur, under the aegis of the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
The event featured presentations by representatives from NSSH, GeM, the Ministry of MSME, the Industries Department, Government of Nagaland, SBI, Food Corporation of India (FCI), Cement Corporation of India (CCI), Airports Authority of India (AAI), NIT/IOCL, ICAI, and the AICIL team, encouraging entrepreneurs to explore procurement opportunities and expand their business networks.
A key highlight of the programme was the provision of free on-the-spot GeM and Udyam registrations throughout the event. A small exhibition showcasing local products and services was also organized, providing participants with opportunities for networking and business promotion.
A total of nearly 100 entrepreneurs including business owners, and stakeholders across Nagaland participated in the program. Distinguished guests and officials from NSIC, along with representatives from government departments, financial institutions, and Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), graced the event.
The session commenced with a welcome address by Vice President (National), Business Association of Nagas (BAN), Colo Mero, and concluded with an interactive discussion session and a vote of thanks, reaffirming the commitment of NSIC and its partners towards strengthening entrepreneurship and supporting MSMEs in Nagaland.
