Entrepreneurship certificate course launched at KCK

In commemoration of “World Youth Skills Day” 2025, the Skill Development Committee of Kohima College officially launched the Entrepreneurship Development Certificate Course (EDCC) on July 15. The 36-hour certified training programme is designed to instil an entrepreneurial mindset and sharpen business acumen among students.
The course is organized in partnership with the Entrepreneur School of Business (ESB) (formerly EduCentre), with funding support from the Alumni Association of Kohima College.
A total of 31 students from Kohima College have enrolled in the inaugural batch of the EDCC, signalling growing interest among youth in entrepreneurship as a career choice. The event saw an enthusiastic participation from faculty, students and representatives from partnering institutions.
The event was chaired by associate professor & convenor, Skill Development Committee, Dr. Konei Nakhro, and invocation by Dr. Kekhrieseno Christina.
A short speech on the formal launch of the EDCC was delivered by Kohima College, principal, Dr. Vitsosie Vupru.
