Esha Konyak visits RO cum Multipurpose Cultural Complex

Parliamentary secretary Art and Culture, Eshak Konyak on Thursday visited the office of Registering Officer (RO) Dimapur-cum- Multipurpose Cultural Complex at Chumukedima.
During the visit, Konyak said that after touring various districts he was aware of the problems and prospects of the department and its employees. Stating he would take every possible measure to improve the department’s image, Konyak sought cooperation from the employees in this regard.
He lamented that offices remain deserted despite having excess employees as employees draw salary from ATM without attending office. Taking strong note of the ‘trend’, Konyak asserted the practice should be totally stopped. He reminded the employees that the purpose of being in govt service was not just to enjoy monthly salary but to provide service to the people.
Earlier, the registering officer Dimapur apprised the parliamentary secretary of the various problems faced by the establishment.
