ESSU serves ultimatum on DoSE

Expressing disappointment over the delay in construction of school building of government primary school (GPS) Hoshepu-A under SDEO Aghunato, the Eastern Sumi Students’ Union (ESSU) has served an ultimatum on the department of school education to begin construction on or before August 23, 2021 and complete by October 23, 2021 as per the specification of the work order.

In an ultimatum addressed to the principal director school education, president Hokato V Yepthomi and general secretary Vikiyeto V also demanded appropriate action against “offended officials” on or before August 23, 2021. ESSU warned that it would “not remain silent” but objectively pursue “our own course of action” if the department failed to take action.
