Ex. underground khellers of industrial village (EUKIV) Razhüphe held its general meeting on March 22 at the residence of its council chairman T.L Angami and deliberated on various issues.
A press release by sessional secretary, Theja Angami informed that the meeting resolved to occupy the land/area which were allotted to the ex. underground (EU) for their rehabilitation but presently under the temporary occupation of the NIDC and their entrepreneurs.
It stated that it would take any course of action deemed fit against the NIDC and their entrepreneurs if they continued to go against the High Court standing order which restrained both the parties from doing any unwarranted and illegal activities but to maintain status quo till the matter was finalised by the appropriate court.
Ex. underground khellers of industrial village therefore appealed to the NIDC and their entrepreneurs to immediately vacate the area or else pay their land tax to EUKIV as ordered by the council earlier, without fail.
Further, EUKIV strongly resolved that not even an inch of land shall be given to NIDC or its entrepreneurs.
