Ex-servicemen rally to be held at Zakhama

Ex- servicemen rally would be held on May 5, starting from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m in the Zakhama military station for Kohima, Phek, Kiphire, Wokha and Zunheboto districts.
Brig KK Roy Choudhury, SM, VSM (Retd), director of Directorate of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement, Nagaland, Kohima has informed all ex – servicemen, widows and accompanying dependents of the districts to attend the rally. 
The rally is being organized to update Ex-Servicemen fraternity on various welfare measures introduces by central government, ministry of defence, services headquarter, state government and Rajya Sainik Board. 
Various stalls such as medical, ECHS, CSD, banking, pension and information cells will be established to facilitate and resolve grievances and problems. 
All ex-servicemen and widows have been informed to carry their Identity Card, Pension Payment Order (PPO) and bank pass book to resolve pension anomalies, if any.
All have been asked to inform respective Zila Sainik welfare offices regarding their attendance by May 3, to facilitate administrative arrangements.
