Bandh relaxed
In a huge relief for students appearing the HSLC/CL XI and HSSLC exams 2017, NTAC and JCC have decided to exempt them from the purview of the bandh. However, students have been requested to produce valid admit cards and related documents to bandh volunteers.
In addition, NTAC has informed that government vehicles would be allowed to ply strictly to pick and drop students, while relaxations were also made for public transport, bus, taxis, sumo and private vehicles to ferry students and officials on exam duty only.
NTAC and JCC said the decision was made taking into consideration the welfare of the students and not to jeopardize their careers. The committees have also asked all volunteers to ensure safety of the students while enforcing the bandh.
