Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Excise (Zonal) Kohima on May 30 destroyed 15137 bottles of assorted Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) at Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Garbage Dumping area, Merima.
In a press release, assistant commissioner of excise (Zonal) Kohima, Vithoselie Terhuja informed that the seizures were during the period, January 2022 to March 2023.
He said the destruction was done in the presence of the board members consisting of representative from the district administration and KMC.
