Kohima Excise personnel manning Peducha Check-post seized 6,960 cans of beer which were found concealed in-between cement bags on a Manipur bound truck on May 28.
According to asstt. commissioner of Excise (Administration) , Dimapur, two persons identified as Padam Sharma (39) and Hanjeet Singh (21) were arrested in this connection for violation of NLTP Act and that further investigation was on.
