Excise personnel seizes IMFL in Zunheboto

Excise District Office, Zunheboto, led by Superintendent L. Hevito Zhimomi, conducted surprise raids and MVCP duties across Zunheboto town in the month of June and July, resulting in the seizure of 800 bottles of IMFL, 120 canned beer, and 10 litres of country liquor. A total of 55 persons were arrested.
According to Excise District Office, Zunheboto, the enforcement drive, part of NLTP Act implementation, will continue regularly. Officials urged the public to report illegal activities to help curb the menace of liquor and drug abuse.
