Renowned aviation expert S.J. Murlidhar has suggested that a technical glitch or engine failure could be key factors behind the tragic crash of a Dreamliner 787 in Ahmedabad. He emphasized that investigators begin by ruling out possibilities—from natural phenomena like microbursts to system failures.
While weather conditions, incorrect takeoff configurations, and engine responsiveness remain under scrutiny, Murlidhar pointed to the aircraft’s low climb rate and possible thrust issues as significant concerns. He also noted that sabotage, though rare, cannot be entirely ruled out without forensic confirmation.
The black box, containing cockpit conversations and flight data, will be crucial in determining the definitive cause of the crash. Investigators are expected to decode it soon, providing a clearer picture of the incident.
