The Department of Philosophy, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung, organized the fifth session of its ongoing lecture initiative, “The Thinking Hat Talk Series”, on October 15 at the College Conference Hall. The session was chaired by assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy, Dr. Alemtola.
In a press release, Fazl Ali College information & publicity cell informed that Professor of Religion at Clark Theological College Mokokchung, Prof. Rev. Dr. K. Dhanbir Rai, served as the resource person for the session. He delivered a talk on the theme “Philosophy of Bhagavad Gita and its Correlation with Indian Politics and Hindu Fundamentalists.”
In his address, Prof. Rai explored the moral and philosophical dimensions of the Bhagavad Gita, drawing connections to contemporary socio-political contexts. He emphasized the role of conscience in ethical decision-making and underscored the importance of upholding moral values within both individual and societal frameworks.
The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to delve deeper into the subject matter.
Associate professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy, Dr. Bendanginla, delivered the vote of thanks, marking the close of the event.
