
Two-week faculty development programme in Entrepreneurship organized by Indian Institute of Entrepreunership (IIE) State Office, Dimapur under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship got underway at Digitech Institute, Dimapur on March 31.
Speaking as chief guest, principal of Yemhi Memorial College, Dimapur, Professor M. Chetia, expressed that for the students there were numbers of awareness programme and as such for the teachers the program was organized.
He also motivated the student teachers that they could take up entrepreneurship as a career option.
It was important that teachers should be sensitized on need for being an entrepreneurial teacher, he added.
Project coordinator, IIE under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Amen Aodang, informed that it was a free course sponsored by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Boards. The program would culminate on April 13.
